How many charging stations can be used per site?
In the initial phase, we are developing the integration for individual users. Consequently, we will support up to two charging stations.
How does Enegic communicate with the charging station?
Enegic measures real-time power consumption and production through the Enegic Monitor or Enegic Monitor One. The data is transmitted via Wi-Fi to a Bluetooth extender located nearby the charging station, for instance, inside the garage. If more than one charging station is installed, it is possible to set up multiple Bluetooth devices for improved coverage.
What happens if Enegic goes offline?
We ensure that the charging station charges at a low and secure level, regardless of which part of the system is offline.
Can you charge your EV using self-produced solar power?
We will support EV charging with surplus energy produced in a solar panel system in an early version, but not in the first one.
Does the integration work with multiple levels of fuses?
Yes, there will be an early version with support for multi-point measurement.
Is optiCharge available?
Yes.
How to install Enegic with Amina EV charger?
In the Enegic-Amina integration, Enegic Monitor is installed at the same time as your EV charger. For every Amina charger one Enegic Bluetooth Bridge is installed as well.
he current sensors are connected to the three phases of the property: L1, L2, and L3. For Enegic to work properly, the sensors are ideally installed as close to the distribution station as possible. Thereafter Enegic's charging load management will be installed. With Enegic one, installation via the P1/RJ12 port is also available.
The installation will be performed by a certified electrician.
